It's not heavy or greasy, it is light and rinses out well. Best shampoo and conditioner
"Smells very nice. Feels very nice. Best shampoo and conditioner ever, and trust me, I've tried many. Big bottles. I have two maltipoos and I have to bathe them 3 times a month so it's very important to me that I use something gentle...this is it. The scent isn't overpowering. It's nice to know that I don't have to worry about it being harmful to my girls. Just for the record, I don't leave the conditioner as long as directed. I apply it, cover the coats and rinse."

"We have a 100 lb Old English Sheepdog, and as anyone that has a long-haired dog can attest, keeping clean and keeping matts at bay are a huge challenge. We're not show-dog people and we don't brush our dog's ridiculously long hair everyday (shhhh! don't tell!). But, we love his crazy coat and we try to do the very best a busy family can to keep him clean and comfortable and to keep his hair from developing painful matts. When someone recommended we try Cowboy Magic for its magical detangling abilities, we were somewhat skeptical, but we ordered it anyway and have been SO PLEASED! Not only does the shampoo and conditioner get him clean - even his ginormous claws caked with Texas black clay soil - but the products genuinely seem to help loosen his tangles and resist matting. Even his white hair seems to whiten with Cowboy Magic. We're sold!"
